CFS/FM Serenity Prayer
Lord, grant me the serenity to accept
The things I cannot change,
The courage to change
The things I can,
And the wisdom to hide
The bodies of Doctors I shot
When they said,
“You’re perfectly healthy,
It’s All In Your Head.”
This blog entry is a letter I wrote to my dad that I will never give to him. I talk about both the love and the abuse that went on growing up and how confusing it is.
It looks like I will finally get to be a part of my sister’s life again, even though she is still very much under the hold of my abusive mother, who has Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). My sister is has severe OCD and bipolar. Because of my mother (and father)’s abuse she is much, much younger emotionally than a woman in her late 20’s. She is so deeply entwined in the abuse that she doesn’t see it and goes into a rage when someone even hints that something is going on. I only want to be part of her life again, talking for now on very neutral subjects.
